• Logistics Data: Delivery addresses, project site locations, and preferred pickup/delivery hub.

B. Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: Pages visited, time spent on pages, links clicked, and scroll depth — collected via Google Analytics (GA4).
• Device Information: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, device type, and IP address.
• Location Data: Approximate geographic location inferred from IP address to show regional steel prices.
• Referral Data: The URL of the website that referred you to our platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used for the following purposes:

• To display personalised regional TMT steel prices based on your location (city/state).
• To process and respond to RFQ submissions and buyer/dealer inquiries.
• To verify dealer authenticity through GST and trade license cross-referencing.

• Verified Dealers & Suppliers: Your inquiry details are shared with relevant verified suppliers to provide accurate quotations. Only the minimum necessary information is shared.
• Logistics Partners: Delivery address and contact details shared with logistics providers when arranging steel delivery at your request.
• Google LLC: Analytics data (via GA4), advertising data (via AdSense), and real-time database services (via Firebase) are processed by Google. Governed by Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• Regulatory Authorities: We may disclose data when required by Indian law, court orders, or government authorities, including tax authorities (GST compliance).

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

• HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted to and from our website.
• Firebase Security Rules governing access to our Firestore database.
• Access controls limiting who within our organisation can access user data.
• Regular security reviews of our platform and third-party integrations.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal and business data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as required by applicable Indian law (including GST Act record-keeping requirements). Below are the specific retention periods we apply by data category:

• RFQ and Inquiry Data: Contact details, project specifications, and quote requests submitted via our platform are retained for 3 years from the date of last inquiry. This period is required to resolve potential commercial disputes and comply with the Limitation Act, 1963 (India).
• Dealer & Supplier Account Data: Business registration details, GST numbers, and trade licences of verified dealers are retained for 5 years after account closure, as required by applicable tax laws and GSTIN audit provisions.
• Google Analytics (GA4) Data: Website usage and behavioural analytics data is retained for 26 months in accordance with Google's standard retention period for GA4 properties. Aggregate anonymised statistics may be retained indefinitely.
• WhatsApp Communication Data: Business inquiries conducted via our WhatsApp number (+91 89689 38428) are retained for 1 year and are subject to WhatsApp's Privacy Policy. We do not store WhatsApp message content on our own servers.
• Firebase Authentication & Firestore Data: User authentication records (email/phone login data) are retained in Google Firebase for 5 years after an account deletion request is processed. Real-time price data stored in Firestore is retained for 2 years.
• Google AdSense Advertising Cookies: Advertising identifiers and interest signals used by Google AdSense are subject to Google's cookie retention policies — typically 13 months. You may clear these at any time via your browser or Google Ad Settings.

After the relevant retention period expires, we will securely delete or anonymise your data. You may also request early deletion by contacting our Data Protection Officer (see Section 11).

8. Your Rights

Under the Information Technology Act, 2000 (as amended) and applicable data protection guidelines in India, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
